Have you ever wanted to take on a new challenge?  Explore your thoughts and ideas? Or how about doing something you love and sharing it with the world?  Hello, I’m Ashley C. Shank, the owner of Ashley C. Shank Designs, Illustration and surface pattern design.  I’ve moved around a lot, but currently reside in the Cincinnati area of Ohio.

I’m inspired by my travels to unique places, my love for animals, and the beauty of nature.  I’ve always felt a connection towards surface patterns, in which I find myself always thinking of the next design everywhere I go.  I can’t get enough!  You can usually find me doodling and designing in my art space with a cup of tea by my side.

About My Art

Each illustration and pattern that you see Is completely created by me.  I mainly work in digital media.  My style uses softer color palettes with pops of brighter colors.  They tend to have a nod to folk art.  You can find my illustrations and seamless repeat patterns on fabric, home decor, and as art prints on my shops with Spoonflower and Society6.
