Bienvenidos!

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico was amazing!  That pretty much sums it up but I’ll explain why.

First off, I have never traveled anywhere outside the United States, so when this opportunity came up I wasn’t going to miss it. My boyfriend called me and said pack your bags for a New Year’s vacation to a tropical paradise.  Getting there was a bit of a struggle dealing with delayed planes and a long line at customs, but all in all we got there with the frowns on our faces quickly turning into wide smiles.  The atmosphere was beautiful in every way.  There were enormous mountain peaks that consumed us as we traveled through the valley towards Riu Sante Fe Resort and the never ending array of cacti. Looking to the left you saw nothing but the glistening Pacific Ocean that extended for miles and miles that made you forget all your worries back home.  This was truly a vacation.  One where I relaxed and hung out with my boyfriend and his family to start the year off right.

Apart from relaxing I went on plenty of adventures that really made this trip exciting and over the top. Mexico definitely had its attractions and made sure we took advantage of them. We went whale watching where we saw a few Humpback Whales breaching out on the coast, we swam with dolphins which is something I’ve always wanted to do, and then we went swimming with the Whale Sharks!  I highly recommend doing all the great adventures that Cabo has to offer and taking a trip there when you get the chance.  Now that I have Mexico under my belt I can’t wait to go on the next trip and experience another wonderful place.  Just say yes to travel!
